Citizenship project - Year 2

As part of our project this year, we explored what it means to be British. Our Island life, politics, food and culture.

Interests

Hartlepool is our hometown, it is situated on the north east coast of Great Britain.

There are many interesting things to do in Hartlepool, you can see a film at the Cinema, play ten pin bowling, visit Hartlepool Historic Quay and Museum, visit Victoria Park the home of our local Football team, Hartlepool United F.C. or go shopping in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre.

   

Victoria Park

Victoria Park is the home of Hartlepool United F.C. They are in the 3rd division of the Football League and almost got promoted to the 2nd division last season but Blackpool knocked them out in the play-offs.

Hartlepool United's best player last season was called Tommy Miller.
