Yliranta school is one of the eight primary schools in Ii.

The school is located six kilometres from the centre of Ii on the northern side of the river Ii.

The city of Oulu is 45 kilometres to the South.

The school was founded 1916. The schoolbuilding was renewed in 1993 and since then we have had three teachers.

At the moment we have 45 pupils.
